What does "RIDE BACKWARDS" mean?

This is an easy one, best answered with a picture.

What is Dri-FIT?

Nike Dri-FIT® keeps the athlete dry and comfortable by wicking moisture away from the body out to the surface of the garment, where it can evaporate more easily. Dri-FIT does this through fiber and fabric construction, rather than through chemical treatments, which means it works for the life of the garment.

Nike Dri-FIT UV also provides the wearer with sun protection on the parts of the body that are covered by the garment. Dry cotton fabrics provide UV protection of 6-9. Dri-FIT UV protection is UV30.


What is Dri-release?

Dri-release® is a patented blend of natural and synthetic fibers. The natural fibers absorb moisture, pulling it off the skin and into the fabric. Dri-release moves moisture from the skin through the fabric and releases it into the air faster than any other performance fabric or cotton. Clothes with Dri-release feel cottony soft and get softer with every wash.

FreshGuard® is an odor neutralizer that minimizes odors created by bacteria so that they do not build up in Dri-release fabrics. This special technology keeps clothes fresh.

How should I wash my performance fabrics?

To keep your Dri-FIT and Dri-release garments functioning at their highest levels, machine wash them in cold or warm water, never hot. Hang them on the line to dry, or tumble dry on low. NEVER USE FABRIC SOFTENERS OR DRYER SHEETS! These will impair the wicking ability of the fabric.

Is this site secure?

The RIDE BACKWARDS shop uses PayPal's encrypted website for your utmost safety. When you add a product to our shopping cart, a secure PayPal window (or tab) will open for you to review your selection and make any changes in quantity before continuing to checkout.


Do I need a PayPal account?

You do not need a PayPal account to make a purchase from RIDE BACKWARDS. Any major credit card will work.


How do I pay with a credit card?

You do not have to log into PayPal unless you want to.

What is your privacy policy?

Your privacy is very important to us. Any personal data we receive is used solely for RIDE BACKWARDS business transactions and communication with our customers, and is never shared or sold. Because we use PayPal's shopping cart, we do not have access to your credit card information. All purchases, refunds, and exchanges must be made through PayPal's secure website: www.paypal.com/us


Do I have to pay sales tax?

Only if you live in the state of Illinois.


How much do you charge for shipping?

Shipping is $5.00 on domestic orders under $75. We're pleased to offer free Priority shipping on all orders over $75.

How will you ship my order?

We typically ship your items within two business days of purchase, using either UPS or USPS with Delivery Confirmation. You will receive an email confirmation when we ship your package. If for any reason we are not able to ship your purchase within that time frame, we will contact you by email. If you need faster delivery for a special occasion or have a deadline, please select Priority or Express shipping. Standard shipping can take over a week, depending on your distance from Chicago.


What is your return policy?

We want to make your experience at RIDE BACKWARDS a great one. At RIDE BACKWARDS, 100% SATISFACTION IS REQUIRED.

If you are not happy with your order, please contact us at sales@ridebackwards.com and let us know what to expect in the mail. We would appreciate items returned in their original condition (unworn and unwashed), but if you've washed it, or worn it and you don't like it, we'll still take it back. We are not responsible for return shipping charges. Once received, we will promptly issue a credit or exchange. Shipping & handling charges are non-refundable.
